Learn the skills needed for a career in the growing field of adventure tourism. This fast paced education is designed to equip you with knowledge and experience of both the hard (technical) and the soft (interpersonal) aspects of working in the outdoors.
You will become a versatile, skilled and internationally qualified leader who embody the spirit of an true outdoor guide. Along with the unique field experience, you will graduate with an edge that allow you to find work around the world.
EXPEDITION BASED TRAINING
The education is expedition based and time is spent training and learning in the Himalayan mountains and on its rivers. In the mountains we focus on high altitude trek leading and mountaineering, including summiting a peak. While paddling some of the world's best river, we specialise in raft guiding and white water kayaking.
During the education you become part of the team, learning how expeditions are managed, building problem solving skills and confidence. Collaboration is key, promoting inter cultural competency and the outdoor hospitality mindset.
FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
The training is mixed with a hand picked university course to foster a deeper understanding of the guide profession, and you will graduate with international awards that proves highest standard of safety and guiding skills.
Sustainable practices are integrated throughout and you will gain understanding as well as practical tools to act responsibly in the outdoors. Making it possible for you to influence the future of adventure travel.

Langtang Mountain Range,

DURATION:
15 weeks in Nepal.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
REQUIREMENTS:

Passion for and experience in the outdoors.

Willingness to learn from & share with others.

Good physical health; Confident swimmer and capacity to walk for 8 hours in varied terrain.

Minimum age 18 years.
EDUCATION FEE:
The fee covers permits and national park fees, technical - and group equipment, instructors, support team, international awards and university credit, transportation, accommodation and food in Nepal.
