For those who are looking for a challenge, this internship is designed for students to learn, gain experience and widen their perspective of working in the outdoors  - a great white water experience in the Himalayas.

HIGHLIGHTS

Gain experience in the field, meet people from around the world and come home with new insights to your profession and a new perspective on life.

LEARNING GOALS
> Outdoor Leadership.

> Risk & Safety.
> Teamwork & Motivation.
>
Daily operations at an
   adventure camp.

> Sustainability.
> Rafting, Kayaking &
   Canyoneering.

A great opportunity for students to learn all the things that goes into being a river guide, while also improving their rafting, white water kayaking and canyoneering skills.

Students gain experience in all aspects of the running of an adventure camp, incl. hospitality, maintenance and accommodation, and join guided trips supporting and learning from our senior guides.

Alongside the traditional role, students have the change to choose a focus activity which they will improve their skills in. Reflection and practical action towards sustainability in the outdoors is part of the internship.

This is also an opportunity to come closer to the locals and guides - to learn about the history, culture and nature of the Himalayan rivers.

We work closely with students' educational institution to make meaningful connection between academic studies and real life.

Personal development, collaboration, problem solving skills and knowledge exchange are also integrated and all our programs contain a component of giving back to the people and places we meet.
